Wet all year, or six months on land?

Many owners take the boat out for winter, expecting to save. The report adds up both options for your boat, marina by marina: the berth, the winter on land, and lifting out and back in.

€188 – €3,094 more per year for winter on land than staying wet, for a 12 m sailboat, at every marina that publishes both prices (2026 price lists). Most marinas charge winter on land on top of the annual contract.

Where our numbers come from

Official price lists

Marinas' own published price lists, including the machine-readable lists Croatian businesses must publish under Government decision NN 101/2026.

Owners like you

Prices actually paid, after discounts. Shown only as averages, and only when at least 3 owners reported for a marina. Never with names.

Official statistics

Occupancy, moorings and market data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS).

Clearly labelled estimates

Some marinas only give prices on request. We estimate those from comparable marinas and always say so.

MarinaScope is independent and not affiliated with any marina or marina group. We never pose as a customer to obtain prices.

Share your berth price, get 50% off

Takes 2 minutes. Your answers help other owners and stay anonymous: we publish averages only when at least 3 owners reported for a marina, and never names or your comment word for word.

Questions

Which marinas are covered?

Today the report covers 38 marinas in Croatia and Slovenia with published prices, including all ACI marinas, Punat, Kaštela, Kornati, Hramina, Betina, Agana, Pirovac, Olive Island and Portorož, plus clearly labelled estimates for marinas that give prices only on request, and a comparison with 59 marinas across the Mediterranean. The free preview shows how many marinas cover your boat before you pay.

What if my region has few marinas?

We only sell a report for an area where at least 5 marinas publish prices for your boat. If your area has fewer, the preview tells you and offers a wider area instead.

Can I get a refund?

The report is digital and delivered immediately, so the 14-day right of withdrawal ends when it is delivered (you confirm this when ordering). If something is wrong with your report, write to us and we will fix it or refund you. Payment, VAT and invoices are handled by our payment provider Paddle.

How current are the prices?

We check every marina's price list weekly and show the date or validity period next to every price. Prices are as published by the marina; always confirm the final contract price with the marina.

Why should I share what I pay?

Published prices are only half the story: many owners get discounts or pay extras. Your report helps every owner compare fairly, and you get 50% off your report.

Will my name or comment be published?

No. We never ask for your name, publish prices only as averages of at least 3 owners per marina, and use comments only to summarise themes.

Is this tax or legal advice?

No. Reports and guides are general information.
